Giants coach Brian Daboll shared hope that star working again Saquon Barkley may go well with up for the workforce’s Thursday night time showdown with the 49ers, regardless of struggling a sprained ankle in Week 2 towards Arizona.
When requested at his Tuesday press convention whether or not Barkley would miss the sport towards San Francisco, Daboll supplied a constructive replace, going so far as to name his star again a “fast healer” who’s feeling lots higher two days after struggling the harm.
“I’m not saying he’s out but. He’s a fast healer. I’m not saying he’s in or he’s out,” said Daboll. “We’re going to take all of it the best way as much as Thursday with him. He feels lots higher as we speak. I simply talked to him.”

Whereas the workforce was cautiously optimistic that Barkley can go well with up, the pivotal piece of the Giants’ offense faces an uphill battle to be prepared on the brief week.
Barkley had an impactful position within the membership’s come-from-behind win over Arizona, scoring two second half touchdowns. By two video games, the veteran again has rushed for 114 yards whereas hauling in 9 receptions for 41 yards.
As of Tuesday, the Giants are 10.5-point road underdogs at SI Sportsbook, with the whole factors sitting at 44.5. If the gifted again can play it vastly improves the Giants’ possibilities of hanging with a strong 49ers membership that’s 2–0 to begin the season.
